Sophomore libero tabbed for training with USAVB in Anaheim
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Baylor volleyball's Lauren Briseño has been invited to train with the U.S. Women's National Team Head Coach Karch Kiraly and his staff from March 12-18 at the Anaheim National Team Training Center in Anaheim, Calif.
Briseño, a sophomore libero out of San Antonio, Texas, is one of 18 elite collegiate players to have been invited to spring training with USA Volleyball.
Along with the other athletes at the camp, Briseno will train for the week before scrimmaging on the last day.
"We are thrilled at the opportunity to work with this group of student-athletes for 2023 Spring Training Camp," Kiraly said in a release from USA Volleyball. "With the LA 2028 Olympic Games less than six years away, who knows? Some women from this group could be repping USA Volleyball!"
