Mikaela Sullivan has had a unique courtside view of college basketball

From her undergrad days at Vermont University, where she wore the "Rally Cat" mascot uniform and later worked as a marketing assistant for the Catamounts, Mikaela Sullivan has had a unique courtside view of college basketball.
After 2 ½ years in marketing and digital media at UConn, Mikaela came to Baylor in February 2022 as Director of Strategic Marketing for men's and women's basketball and recently won the One Standard, One Accord award for committing to principled innovation.
"Since arriving at Baylor, you have challenged each of us to be better across fan engagement and marketing," said Erin Bean, Associate AD for Strategic Marketing and Fan Engagement. "Specifically with your work with men's and women's basketball, we have seen a transformation at the Ferrell Center. And we can't wait to see what we can do at the Foster Pavilion next year."
Brent Ingram, Assistant AD for Communications, said Mikaela has a passion for basketball and her job that is infectious.
"It's really an honor to work with you every day," Ingram said. "Your positivity and the infectious passion you have for your job rubs off on all of us and makes us all better. I'm excited to watch your journey as you grow and develop as an elite professional in the collegiate athletics industry."
Working alongside her as an associate director of fan engagement, Noah Peterson said Mikaela challenges him every day.
"You've challenged me and you've challenged everyone around you to grow and develop those skills," Peterson said. "Looking at where I was a year ago to where I am now, I know that my growth would not be where it is if it wasn't for you.
"Especially as we move into the Foster Pavilion next year, I look forward to partnering with you and making Baylor Basketball not only one of the best shows and productions in the Big 12 but across the country."
