All-Region Freshman finishes in 198th on the big stage
MADISON, Wisc. – After a stellar freshman season, Baylor cross country's Ruth Kimeli completed her 2024 campaign at the NCAA Cross Country Championships at Wisconsin's Thomas Zimmerman Championship Cross Country Course on Saturday morning.
THE RUNDOWN
Freshman Kimeli represented Baylor in the championship 6K, finishing 198th overall at 21:09.9 to wrap her superb freshman cross country season. Kimeli ends as an All-Region honoree with four top-15 finishes. Kimeli's berth to the NCAA Championships made her the first Baylor women to qualify as an individual since 2017.

With cross country now in the rearview, the focus turns to the 2025 indoor track and field season, which is slated to begin in January.
