Bears looking to continue strong Western showing
WACO, Texas – Baylor equestrian (2-9, 1-4) hosts No. 1 TCU (10-0, 5-0) to end the regular season on Friday, March 1 at the Willis Family Equestrian Center, facing off at 1 p.m.
BU returns to action after dropping a tight 10-9 battle to UC Davis, as Reining claimed its first win of the season. Two Bears hold point streaks headed into the final meet, including Lauren Reid (Flat-four) and Alexis Rutledge (Horsemanship-three).
Baylor holds a 25-11 advantage over TCU in the all-time series. The two last faced off Nov. 10, 2023, as BU fell 14-6. Live scoring will be available and can be found here.
Five Bears are to set to be honored at Senior Day, including Gianna Brocchini, Rachel Brody, Tatum Mitchell, Bella Rosa and Samantha Stubblefield.
Following the meet, Baylor hosts the 2024 Big 12 Equestrian Championship, March 29-30, at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.
