Briseño named to CNT for second time
WACO, Texas – Baylor volleyball's starting libero Lauren Briseño has been named to USA Volleyball's Collegiate National Team for a second time, the organization announced Wednesday.
Briseño, a native of San Antonio, Texas, was chosen as one of 19 of the top U.S. women's collegiate volleyball athletes. This is the rising senior's second time being named to the team, earning her first nod in 2023.
She and the CNT will train June 30-July 6 in Anaheim, Calif., alongside the Olympic Women's Volleyball squad, joining Baylor alum and first-time Olympian Avery Skinner in the gym.
Briseño is one of four Big 12 student-athletes to be named to this year's CNT.
