MBB Places Four on Academic All-Big 12 Squads

WACO, Texas – Baylor men's basketball had four players named to Academic All-Big 12 teams, announced Tuesday by the conference office.

Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua and Austin Sacks made the first team, while Langston Love and Caleb Lohner earned second-team nods. The Bears have now had multiple honorees in eight straight seasons and a first-team representative in seven of the last eight seasons.

First-team members consist of those with a 3.20 or better GPA, while the second-team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA. The 2024 academic all-conference men's basketball team consists of 49 total student-athletes.
Tchamwa Tchatchoua, an Environmental Health Science major, is making his fourth-straight appearance on an All-Big 12 Team after previously taking home second-team honors in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Austin Sacks, a marketing major from Los Angeles, Calif., appeared in a career-high 10 games in 2024-25 and is making his first appearance on an All-Big 12 squad.

Langston Love makes a second-straight appearance on the All-Big 12 Second Team after making the squad a season ago. He was joined by Caleb Lohner, who made his first Academic All-Big 12 Team.

Baylor has now had 28 first-team selections by 21 different players and 27 second-team selections by 19 different players.
