Ezekiel ends third season with sixth trip to national podium
EUGENE, Ore. – Baylor track and field's men's squad ended its 2024 collegiate season on Friday evening at historic Hayward Field. Junior Nathaniel Ezekiel was the lone competitor for BU, earning his second-straight bronze medal in the 400-meter hurdles.
The Baylor men totaled 11 team points behind the Nigerian roommate duo of Ezekiel and Chinecherem Prosper Nnamdi (javelin throw).
THE RUNDOWN
Ezekiel claimed the national bronze medal behind a 48.88-second effort out of Lane Five. The junior ends his season with his sixth-total All-America honor and the third straight in the event. His fourth national honor in an individual event ties him in 11th in program history with former greats, KC Lightfoot, LeJerald Betters, Danny Brabham, Trayvon Bromell, Michael Johnson, Bayano Kamani and Raymond Pierre.

The women's final day of competition commences on Saturday with the 4x100-meter relay, the Bears' only event, at 4:32 p.m. CT on ESPN.
