BSB Collects ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award

Bears logged 3.31 cumulative GPA in 2023-24
WACO, Texas – For the ninth-consecutive season, Baylor baseball has received the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, as announced Wednesday by the organization.
In the 2023-24 academic year, BU posted a 3.31 cumulative GPA as a team, its highest since 2020-21. The Bears turned in a 3.25 fall GPA and logged a 3.28 GPA in the spring, with 13 players earning Academic All-Big 12 honors.
Baylor is one of 129 Division I baseball programs to be honored this season and one of five Big 12 programs to receive the award, alongside Kansas, Oklahoma State, UCF and West Virginia.
