Four Bears got significant experience over weekend at Waco Regional Tennis Center
WACO, Texas – Baylor men's tennis opened its fall season over the weekend from September 13-15 by hosting the Waco Fall Kickoff Classic at the Waco Regional Tennis Center. Athletes from eight teams across the south came to face off against Baylor, with four Bears in competition.
Louis Bowden, Imran Daniel Hazli, Marko Miladinovic and Quintan Van Wijk all saw action over the weekend for the Bears, going 5-4 in singles and 1-3 in doubles.
"We won some and we lost some this weekend, but the professional nature in which we competed was very representative of the green behavior we are all striving for as part of this team throughout this season," head coach Michael Woodson said. "The guys at the Waco Regional owned their role this weekend, inviting the tough stuff and being coachable throughout. This was exactly the start we were looking for."
