Bears host 19 matches at home during regular season
WACO, Texas – Baylor men's tennis released its 2026 spring schedule with 19 home matches to be played between the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center and the Hurd Tennis Center, set to open on Jan. 13.
The Bears will open the season on the road at San Diego on Jan. 13 but will be welcomed home with six consecutive home matches to close out January, including matches against Wisconsin, SMU and Tulsa.
In February, Baylor will travel up I-35 to face off against TCU for its traditional non-conference meet-up on Feb. 5. The Bears will then compete against another in-state rival, Texas A&M, at home on Feb. 9, before hosting the ITA National Indoor Championship for the second consecutive year at the Hawkins Indoor. To close out the month, BU will go on the road for highly competitive matches at reigning national champions Wake Forest and Illinois.
The Bears hit the road in the month of March, only holding three home matches versus seven road matches. BU will host Ohio State on March 5 before heading off to the prestigious Indian Wells, Calif., to compete in the UTR College Championship. Baylor will then open conference play at Arizona, Arizona State, and Oklahoma State before hosting its first Big 12 match against UCF in a double-header alongside Creighton on March 29.
Baylor remains at home going into April with Big 12 matchups against Utah on April 2 and BYU on April 4. The Bears have one final road test on April 9 in Lubbock against Texas Tech before returning home for their final regular-season matches against rival TCU and UTRGV on April 12.
BU's postseason will begin from April 19-21 in the Big 12 Championship held in Orlando, Fla., at the USTA National Campus.
