WACO, Texas -- A total of 12 future student-athletes inked with Baylor football for the 2026 season, it was announced on Wednesday by Coach Dave Aranda.
Baylor added 12 players for the 2026 newcomer class, including four four-star recruits. Baylor's On3 composite average rankings puts the class No. 27 and third in the Big 12 Conference.
"I am excited about this class and thankful for the young men who are choosing to be a part of the Baylor Family," Aranda said. "This group, and their families, embodies all of the elements we strive to build our program around — character, toughness and competitiveness. We have a good mix of young men who can instantly impact our program by slotting into positions of need."
"I am thankful and appreciative of our entire staff for their hard work. They have built genuine, transformational relationships with these student-athletes and their families. I am also pleased that we have continued to keep Texas talent in our state and that speaks to the strong relationships our staff has built with the Texas High School Football Coaches Association."
"These young men have stayed committed to Baylor, which shows their character and genuine belief in what we are building here. We are not done adding newcomers for 2026. We feel that this class, plus those we will continue to add, will help us to compete at the level we expect."
