Bears face off with the Wildcats Friday at noon and the Cowgirls Sunday at 1 p.m.
WACO, Texas – No. 22 Baylor women's tennis looks to host familiar Big 12 foes in Kansas State and Oklahoma State at the Hurd Tennis Center, welcoming the Wildcats on Friday at noon and the Cowgirls on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Baylor (15-3, 6-2 Big 12) earned a road trip sweep taking down Iowa State and Kansas, each 4-2, to earn their 15th win of the season, for the fifth consecutive year.
In the last 10 matches that BU faced the Wildcats, the green and gold have won nine contests, with the Bears picking up a 4-3 victory in 2024 to extend the all-time series lead to 26-5. The last time the Bears took on the Cowgirls, the Bears fell 7-0, but BU still holds the series lead at 20-12.
85th-ranked Na Dong is Baylor's lone ITA-ranked singles player. In doubles, Baylor has Liubov Kostenko and Cristina Tiglea as the 24th-ranked doubles team.
The Oklahoma State roster holds four ranked singles players with No. 21 Ange Oby Kajuru, No. 58 Gracie Epps, No. 81 Anastasiya Komar and No. 104 Marcela Lopez. The Cowgirls also have two ranked doubles teams as Rose Marie Nijkamp and Komar hold the 39th ranking and Oby Kajuru and Komar are 73rd.
