
Baylor MBB Earns No. 7 Seed in Big 12 Championships

WACO, Texas – Baylor men's basketball has earned the No. 7 seed in the 2025 Big 12 Conference Championships and will face the winner of Tuesday's Kansas State vs. Arizona State matchup on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and the Baylor Sports Media Network.
Baylor (18-13, 10-10 Big 12 Conference) earned the No. 7 seed by virtue of owning the head-to-head win over West Virginia, who took the No. 8 seed, also sporting a 10-10 league record.
The Bears posted a win over Arizona State on Jan. 11 in Tempe, Ariz., in the lone meeting with the Sun Devils. BU owned a 70-62 win over Kansas State on Jan. 22 in its meeting vs. former Baylor assistant coach Jerome Tang's Wildcats.
Baylor owns a 18-26 all-time record in the Big 12 Championships, including a 14-22 mark in Kansas City and a 10-16 mark under Coach Scott Drew. The Bears are seeking their first conference tournament title in program history.
The Bears wrapped up their regular-season schedule with a narrow 65-61 loss to No. 3/3 Houston on Saturday night at Foster Pavilion. Arizona State (13-18, 4-16 Big 12) fell in its final test of the year at home vs. No. 9/9 Texas Tech, 85-57, and Kansas State (15-16, 9-11 Big 12) suffered a 73-57 loss at home to No. 10/10 Iowa State.
