Ezekiel remains with the nation’s best in fourth watch list update
NEW ORLEANS – Baylor track & field senior Nathaniel Ezekiel has landed a spot for the third consecutive update to The Bowerman Watch List.
The Bowerman—collegiate track and field's version of the Heisman Trophy—began in 2009 and is presented each year to the nation's most outstanding male and female athletes. The trophy is named after famed Oregon head coach Bill Bowerman.
The Big 12 Indoor Performer of the Year had a successful indoor campaign, ending as a runner-up in the 400m at the NCAA Indoor Championship, just 0.01 seconds short of gold.
Ezekiel looks to keep his momentum as he races in Baylor's final home meet of the season at the Michael Johnson Invite Friday-Saturday in the 400m, 400-hurdles and 4x400 relay.
Still receiving votes on the men's side is Chinecherem Prosper Nnamdi, who looks to continue his outdoor success as a three-time All-American and Big 12 Champion in the men's javelin.
