SIOUX FALLS, S.D – No. 1 seeded Baylor acrobatics & tumbling is prepped to take on No. 8 Limestone on Thursday at approximately 4:30 p.m. CT in Augustana University's Elmen Center for a quarterfinal meet at the 2025 NCATA Championship.
BU (9-0) is set to face Limestone (12-1) for the first time since 2020, and only the second time overall.
Baylor is looking for its 10
th-straight NCATA title, all under head coach
Felecia Mulkey, when it begins the championship in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
The Bears will be wearing pink bear head t-shirts on the sideline against the Saints, aka the "peanut gallery" for breast cancer awareness, in honor of
Bailey Baughn's mom (Gretchen Vance) and
Payton Washington's mom (Angela Washington) and for all those affected by the disease.
Baylor enters the Championship after finishing the regular season undefeated for the fourth year in a row.
Last time out, BU finished with five perfect 10s against No. 2 Oregon, the most ever recorded in a meet for Baylor. With those five, the Bears now have nine 10s on the season, including three in Acro and four in Pyramid.
BU has a season-high meet-high score of 287.795, which came against the Ducks, along with a high team event score of 101.57. There were seven season-high heat scores in that meet alone across the other events.
The Saints come into postseason 12-1, having fallen only to then-No. 2 Quinnipiac in the regular season. They went undefeated at the start of postseason, winning the Conference Carolinas Championship after defeating Belmont Abbey and Coker, respectively.
