BSB Tabbed No. 10 Seed at Big 12 Championship

Bears to face No. 7-seed Oklahoma State in first round on Wednesday

WACO, Texas – Baylor baseball has qualified for the 2025 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship as the No. 10 seed and will begin play on Wednesday, May 21, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
 
The Bears (33-21, 13-17) will face No. 7-seed Oklahoma State (27-22, 15-12) at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, with the winner advancing to face No. 2-seed Kansas (42-14, 20-10) in the quarterfinals on Thursday, May 22, at 4 p.m. Both games will be televised on ESPNU and available via ESPN+.
 
With two wins, Baylor would advance to Friday's semifinals and compete in the night game, a 7:30 p.m. start against either No. 3-seed TCU, No. 6-seed Kansas State or No. 11-seed Houston. The Big 12 Championship game is set for Saturday, May 24, at 6 p.m.
 
BU is making its first trip to the conference tournament since 2022 and looks for its first win at the event since 2019. The Bears are 37-43 all-time at the Big 12 Championship, including a 2-6 mark against the Cowboys.
 
The 2025 Big 12 Championship, which features an increase to 12 teams, will be played in a single-elimination format for the first time. All-session and single-session tickets for the tournament can be purchased here.
