WACO, Texas – Baylor men's tennis notched seven individual student-athletes as ITA Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Monday morning, with a mention as an All-Academic Team.

Oskar Brostrom Poulsen,
Alexandru Chirita,
Luis Jose Nakamine,
Marko Miladinovic,
Quintan Van Wijk and
Arman Zamani all excelled off the court for the Bears, earning the Scholar-Athlete tile.
To be named an ITA Scholar Athlete, one must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year while being listed on the institutional eligibility form. For the ITA All-Academic Team recognition, teams must post at least a 3.2 GPA for the current academic year.
In 2025, 994 Division I men's student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, and 159 men's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
