IRVING, Texas – Baylor senior
Tyler Isgrig was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday.
Isgrig recorded her fourth career brace in Sunday's 4-1 win at Texas State, scoring Baylor's first two goals before a pair of Bobcat own goals sealed the result in San Marcos.
It marked her second two-goal performance at the Bobcat Soccer Complex, as Isgrig also notched her first career brace at the venue while playing for TCU in 2022.
The award is Baylor's 66
th total weekly soccer honor from the Big 12 and the 18
th offensive-specific award since the category was added before the 2000 season.
Isgrig was recognized as Co-Offensive Player of the Week alongside Taylor Zdrojewski of Texas Tech. The conference also honored Nyema Ingleton of West Virginia as Defensive Player of the Week, Lexi Gonzalez of Houston as Goalkeeper of the Week and Mia Goettsche of BYU as Freshman of the Week.
Baylor returns home Sunday to host Abilene Christian at 7 p.m. for its annual Pups at the Pitch promotion, highlighted by a halftime corgi race.
