WACO, Texas – Baylor men's tennis will open its 2025-26 season this upcoming weekend, hosting the Waco Fall Kickoff Classic from Sept. 12-14.
Four Bears are set to kick off their seasons with veterans
Louis Bowden and
Arman Zamani taking the courts while newcomers
Blake Anderson and
Drew Hedgecoe are making their Baylor debuts.
All four Bears will take part in the singles competition while doubles duos of Bowden/Zamani and Anderson/Hedgecoe will step foot on the court.
Baylor welcomes teams across the state of Abilene Christian, UT Arlington, UTSA, SMU, Rice, Texas A&M and Texas Tech to Waco this weekend.
Friday's competition will begin at 1 p.m. CT at the Hurd Tennis Center. On Saturday, competition will be moved to the Waco Regional Tennis Center with play beginning at 9 a.m. CT. A meet and greet with the team will take place following competition on Saturday with free food welcome to fans. The final day of matches will take place on Sunday, beginning at 9 a.m. CT, back at the Hurd Tennis Center.
