NEW YORK CITY – Baylor's Darianna Littlepage-Buggs was selected in the 2026 WNBA Draft on Monday night, picked by the Washington Mystics as the 30th overall selection at The Shed at Hudson Yards in New York City.
The pick marked Nicki Collen's fifth player selected to the WNBA during her tenure at Baylor, the program's 26th overall and the 15th in the last 10 years.
Littlepage-Buggs, a two-time WBCA All-America Honorable Mention selection, four-time All-Big 12 honoree, 2026 All-Big 12 Defensive Team member and 2023 unanimous Big 12 Freshman of the Year, became one of four players in Big 12 history to repeat as the league's rebounding leader in back-to-back seasons. She was the only player in the conference to average a double-double during that span.
She became the ninth Bear to surpass 1,000 career rebounds and finished with 1,164, averaging 9.1 per game. The senior ranked fourth in program history in career rebounds and rebounding average. Her 344 rebounds this season tied her for ninth on Baylor's single-season rebounding average list at 10.1 per game. She also ranks eighth in Big 12 history in career rebounds.
The Oklahoma City native recorded 14 double-doubles this season and finished her career with 44, the fifth most in program history. She scored in double figures 24 times in 2025-26 and grabbed 10 or more rebounds in 19 games. She matched her career high with 20 rebounds at Iowa State and became the fifth Bear to record multiple 20-rebound games in a career. She also set a career high with five steals against UTSA.
Training camps for the 30th season of the WNBA begin April 19, with preseason games starting April 25. The regular season tips off May 8, with Connecticut at New York and Washington at Toronto beginning simultaneously at 6:30 p.m. CT.
