
VB Unveils 2026 Schedule

BU to host seven of the Big 12’s nine NCAA Tournament teams at the Ferrell Center
WACO, Texas – Baylor volleyball head coach Ryan McGuyre announced the program's complete 2026 schedule on Thursday afternoon, in conjunction with the Big 12 Conference releasing the 18-game league slate.
The Bears' schedule features a competitive non-conference lineup highlighted by two premier early-season tournaments, followed by an 18-match Big 12 schedule with nine home contests, featuring seven of the conference's NCAA tournament participants last season.
Baylor opens the season with a pair of exhibitions in Waco, hosting Texas A&M (Aug. 16) and UTSA (Aug. 22), before officially beginning the 2026 campaign at the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic in Honolulu, Hawai'i. The Bears will face San Diego (Aug. 28), Hawai'i (Aug. 29) and Georgia Southern (Aug. 30) during the opening weekend.
The Bears return to Waco to host North Texas (Sept. 3) and Florida (Sept. 5) before traveling to Lincoln, Nebraska, for the Ameritas Challenge (Sept. 10-12). Baylor is set to face Georgia Tech, Nebraska and New Mexico during the three-day event.
BU closes out non-conference play with a couple of home matches against UIW (Sept. 16) and UTEP (Sept. 18) as a part of the Baylor Classic.
Big 12 play begins on the road with a two-match swing through the Beehive State, starting at BYU (Sept. 25) before traveling to Utah (Sept. 27).
Conference action in Waco opens Oct. 2 against UCF, followed by Colorado (Oct. 4). The Bears then travel to Texas Tech (Oct. 8) before returning home to face Arizona (Oct. 11).
Baylor heads to TCU (Oct. 18) before a three-match homestand against Houston (Oct. 23), Kansas (Oct. 25) and TCU (Oct. 30).
November begins with road matches at Kansas (Nov. 6) and Kansas State (Nov. 8) before hosting BYU (Nov. 12).
The Bears close out their home slate against Iowa State (Nov. 20) and Arizona State (Nov. 22) before finishing the regular season on the road at Colorado (Nov. 15), West Virginia (Nov. 25) and Cincinnati (Nov. 27).
Match times and broadcast designations have been announced for the majority of contests, with 22 currently slated for ESPN+, while the match at Nebraska is set for Big Ten Network.
