
WT’s Road Trip to Colorado, Texas Tech Closes Regular Season Slate

Bears play Buffaloes on Thursday afternoon before Saturday first serve against Lady Raiders
WACO, Texas – No. 34 Baylor women's tennis begins the final chapter of the 2026 regular season Thursday as it travels to Boulder, Colo., to face the 66th-ranked Colorado Buffaloes at 3 p.m. before returning to Texas to take on No. 33 Texas Tech in Lubbock on Saturday at noon.

Baylor owns a 12-7 overall record this season with a 7-4 mark in Big 12 play. The Bears are 4-2 on the road, highlighted by conference wins over Cincinnati, West Virginia and Kansas State.
BU went 1-1 last weekend, dropping a 4-3 decision to BYU before rebounding with a 4-3 win over Utah. Zuzanna Kubacha picked up her eighth and ninth wins over the last 10 matches to improve to 21-6 on the season. She is ranked No. 114 nationally and is joined in the rankings by Na Dong at No. 61.
Colorado enters the match at 10-11 overall and 2-9 in Big 12 play, with conference wins over Iowa State and Oklahoma State. The Buffaloes have lost seven straight matches and do not feature any nationally ranked players.
Texas Tech also enters the weekend in a slump, having dropped its last two matches, but carries a 14-9 overall record with a 5-6 mark in conference play. The Lady Raiders will host TCU on Thursday afternoon before closing the regular season against the Bears. Yekaterina Dmitrichenko and Hailey Murphy, ranked No. 77, represent TTU in the national doubles rankings.
