MBB Closes Foreign Tour With 109-65 Win Over Bishop's

Five Bears enter double-digits with K. Mingo and Williams IV earning 20-plus points
MONTREAL – Baylor closed out its 2026 Foreign Tour with a 109-65 victory over Bishop's University on Saturday at Champlain St.-Lambert, capping the trip with two triple digit wins.
Baylor built its lead steadily, taking a 24-22 edge after the first quarter before pulling away with a 35-15 second-quarter surge. The Bears led by as many as 46 points in the fourth quarter and never trailed after the opening period.
Five players reached double figures for Baylor, including two 20-point performances. Isaac Williams IV came off the bench to lead all scorers with 21 points on 7-of-15 shooting, adding four assists and three steals in 23 minutes. Kayden Mingo posted 20 points on 5-of-10 shooting, including 4-of-8 from 3-point range, while dishing a team-high seven assists. Brett Decker Jr. scored 14 points, and Isaac Celiscar added 12 points and seven rebounds off the bench. Dylan Mingo chipped in 11 points and five steals in just 15 minutes, and Elijah Williams led the team in boards with 10 rebounds, six points and three blocks.
Baylor's reserves nearly outscored Bishop's entire team, with 53 bench points to the Gaiters' 15. All 11 Bears available contributed with Maikcol Perez posting six points, including a fast break dunk. Evan Chatman, Andre Iguodala II and Drew Perry all put in five points each with Caden Powell rounding out the box score with four points. The Bears also dominated inside, outscoring Bishop's 48-26 in the paint and 12-0 on fast breaks.
Baylor shot 42.9 percent from the field, 36-of-84, and made 10-of-36 attempts outside of the arc, while holding Bishop's to 27.2 percent, 25-of-91, for the game.
The win closed out Baylor's foreign tour, with the Bears returning to Waco on Monday, Aug. 10.
