2009: Finished 12th overall in his first-ever decathlon at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships with 6,064 points...Recorded six personal-best marks during the conference decathlon competition...Took fifth in the decathlon 1,500 meters with a lifetime best of 4:45.62...During the indoor season, set the school record in the indoor heptathlon with 4,364 points to finish 18th at the Big 12 Indoor Championships in his first-career multi competition...Recorded six personal-best marks during the conference heptathlon competition.
