Named to Big 12 All-Freshman team after hitting .298 with 12 RBI and 20 runs scored in 46 games (23 starts) ... One of three regulars with more walks (16) than strikeouts (14) ... Had .405 on-base percentage and played errorless defense in 45 chances ... Started in all three outfield positions, with 11 games in right field, 10 in left field and one in center field ... Had 10 plate appearances as pinch hitter, delivering four walks, two singles and three RBI ...
