Dani Price returned to Baylor to serve as Director of Softball Operations in July 2021 and is in her fifth season with the Bears.
Price spent four seasons with the Baylor Softball program as she served as a manager in 2014 before stepping into the volunteer assistant role from 2015-17. During her time in Waco, the Lady Bears appeared in four NCAA Regional Tournaments and advanced to the Women’s College World Series in 2014 and 2017.
Most recently, Price spent two seasons as an assistant coach for Georgia Southern where she worked with the pitching staff. In 2020, the Eagles sported the top ERA in the NCAA after the first two weeks of the season as the squad finished the shortened season with a 2.93 team ERA, the lowest for Georgia Southern in the Sun Belt era.
Prior to Georgia Southern, Price served as an assistant coach at her alma mater, McNeese State, where she worked with hitters and pitchers.
A four-year standout at McNeese State, Price played for the Cowgirls from 2008-12. She finished her career with eight home runs and 89 RBI. Price was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll four times, was a 2010 All-Southland Conference honorable mention selection and was named to the 2010 Southland Conference All-Academic Team.
Price graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in health and human performance in 2013 from McNeese State and received her Master of Divinity degree in 2017 from Truett Seminary at Baylor.
