Sheree Colson has been with Baylor Athletic Medicine since 2016 and was promoted to Assistant Director of Athletic Medicine in August 2023, serving as the head athletic trainer with Track & Field and Cross Country. Previously, she worked with Volleyball and other programs.
In her role, Colson provides quality health care for the men’s and women’s track & field and cross country teams by implementing BSI and hamstring-prevention and progression strategies. She also works closely with dietitians, mental health experts and team physicians to recognize and manage high-risk student-athletes in a multidisciplinary approach.
Prior to Baylor, Colson served as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for Texas Woman’s University from 2007 to 2013 and as an Athletic Trainer for Fit-N-Wise Sports Medicine from 2013-16.
The Fort Worth, Texas, native graduated from Baylor with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 2002 and a Master’s in Exercise Physiology in 2003. Returning to school, she earned a Master’s in Athletic Training from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2016. Colson has 11 licenses and certifications and is professionally affiliated with five different associations.
Formerly Sheree Baldwin, she has been married to Seth Colson since 2002.
