Emily Boyer serves Baylor Athletics as Assistant Director of Athletic Medicine, promoted to the title in August of 2023, working primarily with the women's volleyball program and as the oversight for the equestrian team.
Boyer joined Baylor Athletics in September of 2019 as an athletic trainer for the department. In her time at BU, she has worked with volleyball, equestrian, acrobatics & tumbling and more.
Before coming to Waco, Boyer served the LA Galaxy soccer team as an athletic training intern, and the United States Naval Academy as an athletic training intern with the men's basketball, baseball and squash teams.
The Boerne, Texas, native earned her bachelor's from Texas State in 2016 and her master's in human physiology from Oregon in 2019.
