Duke DaRe

Duke DaRe is in his first year in 2024 as a quality control coach at Baylor, working with the defensive backs. 
 
DaRe joined the Baylor staff after serving as a graduate assistant coach at Northwestern in 2021-23, working directly with defensive backs and linebackers. 
 
He assisted with improving Northwestern’s overall record in 2023 which led to a Las Vegas Bowl title with a win over Utah. He tutored Cornerback Cameron Mitchell who was drafted in the fifth round in the 2023 NFL Draft and in 2023 helped Linebacker’s Xander Mueller, Bryce Gallagher and Defensive Backs Rod Heard and Coco Azema earn All-Big Ten selections. 
 
From 2017-2018 he was a video intern for the Oakland Raiders and joined the staff as a Player Personnel Assistant working with General Manager Mike Mayock before moving into a Defensive Assistant role for the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders from 2018-2021 working with the Defensive Back Unit. 
 
A native of Clayton, Calif., in the East Bay Area, DaRe played both basketball and football at De La Salle in Concord.  As senior captain, he led his squad to the California Division 1 State championship. 
 
DaRe is a graduate of University of San Francisco’s Sport Management Master’s Program. He was also a member of UC Santa Barbara’s men’s basketball team while earning a bachelor’s degree in Sociology.
