Paul Bradshaw

Paul Bradshaw serves as Associate Athletics Director for Governance and Regulatory Affairs. Prior to serving in his current role, Bradshaw served Baylor Athletics as Senior Associate AD for Internal Affairs (2020), Associate AD (1999) and Assistant AD for Compliance (1996). Bradshaw also serves as the Athletics’ Department liaison with the University’s Offices of Campus Living and Learning and Student Conduct Administration.

In his previous role, Bradshaw served as Sport Program Administrator for Baylor’s women’s basketball. Additionally, he has served as tournament director for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship and the NCAA Softball Championship. Under his leadership, Baylor has served as host for first and second rounds of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship nine times (2002, 2011, 2013-19), and the NCAA Softball Championship on six different occasions (2004, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2014, and 2017).

Bradshaw came to Baylor from the Southland Conference where he served as Associate Commissioner. He served as the Conference’s primary NCAA rules compliance administrator and directed five conference championships.

Bradshaw’s career in athletic administration began at the Texas State University where he interned and later served as compliance coordinator. During his time at Texas State, Bradshaw earned his Master of Science in Education for Sport Administration from the University of Texas in 1993.

Prior to transitioning careers, Bradshaw worked as an attorney from 1988-1992 at law firms in Tyler and San Antonio. Bradshaw graduated from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business in 1985 with a Bachelor of Business Administration and later earned his Juris Doctor from Baylor School of Law in 1988.

Bradshaw and his wife, Kelly, have two children, Luke and Emma.
