ARLINGTON, Texas - Baylor won five of six singles matches and all three doubles matches on the road against UT-Arlington on Sunday.
No. 1 player Johann Jooste took the only loss for the Bears, falling in three sets to Andy Leber, 6-4, 2-6, 6-3. No. 2 player David Hodge and No. 3 Zoltan Papp each took three sets for their victories, while Johannes Michalsky, Csongor Bibza, and Mark Williams won their matches in straight sets.
The Bears' next action comesThursday, Feb. 10 as the Bears host Alabama. The match is set for 1 p.m. at the Streich Tennis Courts.
