Bears Dominate Baylor Invitational

WACO, Texas - Three Baylor players finished in the top 15 as the Bears won the 1999 Greg May Honda/Baylor Invitational, which concluded Tuesday at Ridgewood Country Club in Waco.
The Bears ended the tournament 12 shots ahead of second place teams North Texas and Arkansas-Little Rock. Baylor?s Troy Caesar came in second with a three-round score of 207, three under par, thanks to second and third round scores of 68. Teammate Aaron Pellegrom tied for third with a total of 212.
Worth Williams placed 12th for the Bears, shooting a 216. Brandon Sanders came in 25th with a 218, and Jimmy Walker tied for 37th with a total of 222.
Neal Collins of North Texas won the individual title as he shot a tournament-low score of 65 over the final 18 holes to pull away.
The win was the first of the fall for Baylor, and came in the team?s last tournament of the fall.
