WACO, Texas - Members of Baylor's men's and women's tennis teams will travel to Midland, Texas, this weekend to participate in the Midland Invitational at the Midland Racquet Club. Tournament action will begin Friday, Oct. 14 and continue through the weekend with the championships taking place on Sunday, Oct. 16.

Representing the Baylor men, Michal Kokta, Jon Reckewey and Matt Brown will be making the trip. For the women, Iva Mihaylova and Zuzana Krchnakova will make the trip.

The tournament includes a 15 school field with players represented from UCLA, Pepperdine, Boise State, Arizona, TCU, Texas A&M, SMU, Texas, UT Arlington, Texas Tech, Duke, Rice, Tulane, Illinois and Baylor.

Both Baylor women will begin action on Friday morning at 9 a.m. with Mihaylova facing Tracy Lin of UCLA and Krchnakova taking on Tulane's Erika Valdes. Men's draws will be available late Thursday.
