WACO, Texas - Sophomore Lars Poerschke defeated teammate Matt Brown in the finals of the HEB Baylor Intercollegiate Tennis Tournament on Sunday at the Baylor Tennis Center.

Five championship matches were to be played on Sunday but due to walkovers, the green singles championship was the only match contested on the court.

Poerschke, the tournament's top seed, breezed through the tournament never playing more than two sets. He defeated Brown, a freshman, 6-1, 6-3 in the final.
