SBC Yellow Pages Salute Lady Bears

WACO, Texas - SBC officials unveiled the 2005 Yellow Pages Directory on Thursday in Waco. Featured on the new directory's front cover is a photo of Baylor basketball coach Kim Mulkey-Robertson cutting down the net with her children, Makenzie and Kramer, April 5 after her Lady Bears defeated Michigan State 84-62 for the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship.
With more than 171,000 copies printed to serve area residences, businesses and government offices, delivery of the latest Waco-area SBC Yellow Pages will begin today and continue through mid-August. The directory, which also includes White Pages listings and a Community Pages section of local information, serves Waco, Hillsboro, Marlin, McGregor, Meridian, Mexia, Moody and West.
Mac Sauls, area sales manager of SBC Yellow Pages; Debbie Keel, SBC Regional Director of External Affairs, and Waco Mayer Virginia DuPuy each spoke at the gathering. Baylor Athletic Diretor Ian McCaw and Coach Mulkey-Addresesed the group as well.
Due to NCAA rules and regulations, images of student-athletes could not appear on the cover of the directory. Therefore, a postgame celebration shot minus players and a picture of Coach Mulkey and her children cutting down the net were selected to appear on the cover.
