MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• The announced attendance was 6,746.
• During the contest, there was one lead change as Baylor's largest advantage was 34 points with 2:17 left in the second half while Oklahoma State's largest lead came with 14:01 left in the first when the Cowgirls held a 10-point lead.
• Baylor will return to action on Sunday, Jan. 15, when the Lady Bears travel to Lubbock, Texas, to face Texas Tech at 2:00 p.m.
TEAM NOTES
• The win extended Baylor's home winning streak to 24-straight games, dating back to a 62-59 loss to Texas Tech on Feb. 8, 2004. Baylor is now 77-10 all-time at home under head coach Kim Mulkey-Robertson.
• Baylor went with a starting line-up of Rachel Allison, Abiola Wabara, Sophia Young, Angela Tisdale and Chameka Scott for the second time this season.
• With the win, Baylor improves to 15-7 all-time against Oklahoma State and has won the last six in the series.
• Oklahoma State jumped out to a 10-0 lead and held Baylor score less until the 13:47 mark of the first half; however, Baylor answered with an 11-0 run to take the lead with 8:20 left in the first half.
• After Oklahoma State scored with 14:01 left in the first half to take a 10-0 lead, Baylor scored 16 straight points to take a 16-10 lead, holding the Cowgirls scoreless for 8:54 until Amanda Foster scored with 5:07 left in the half to cut the Baylor lead to 16-12.
• Baylor scored 25 points in the first half, the lowest point total for Baylor in a half this season; however, after trailing 10-0, the Lady Bears closed out the half on a 25-4 run to take a 25-14 lead at halftime.
• Baylor held Oklahoma State to 14 first half points, the lowest first half total since the Lady Bears held Lamar to nine first half points on Dec. 7, 1988. The 14 first half points was the lowest first half point total for a Big 12 Conference opponent in school history and the second lowest first half total by an opponent all-time (9, Lamar).
• Baylor held Oklahoma State to 12 second half points, the lowest second half total since the Lady Bears held Nicholls State to 12 second half points on Nov. 22, 2003. The 12 points was the lowest point total for a Big 12 Conference opponent in a half in school history and tied the school record for fewest second half points by an opponent in school history (12, TCU on Jan. 22, 1983, and UPR-Mayaquez on Dec. 20, 2003).
• Baylor held Oklahoma State to 11-of-48 shooting for 22.9 percent, the lowest percentage for a Baylor opponent this season.
• The 26 points scored by Oklahoma State was the lowest total for a Baylor opponent since Dec. 20, 2003, when the Lady Bears defeated UPR-Mayaguez 103-25.
• The 26 points scored by Oklahoma State was the fewest points scored by a Big 12 Conference opponent in school history. The previous low for a Big 12 opponent was 44 by Nebraska on Feb. 5, 2003 (69-44 Baylor win).
• Baylor held a 22-2 edge in bench points and a 27-11 edge in points off turnovers.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• Sophia Young scored 10 points on the night, pushing her career total to 2,020. Young ranks sixth all-time in Big 12 Conference career scoring and is now 105 points shy of LaNeishea Caufield of Oklahoma (2,125 points) for fifth on the conference career scoring list.
• With 10 points, Young has scored in double figures in 59 consecutive games and has scored in double figures in 110 of 119 career games.
• Freshman Rachel Allison established a new career high in rebounds, leading the Lady Bears with 14 on the night. The 14 rebounds was the fourth-highest mark by a Baylor player this season
• Jordan Davis hit three three pointers on the night, the most for the senior in a game this season.
• Freshman Jessica Morrow reached double-digit scoring for the second time in her career, leading the way for Baylor with 11 points on the night.
