Men's Tennis Eliminated From NCAAs

PALO ALTO, Calif. - Baylor's Michal Kokta and Lars Poerschke were eliminated from doubles competition in the NCAA Men's Tennis Championships in the round of 32 on Thursday at the Taube Tennis Center on the campus of Stanford University.
Poerschke and Kokta, ranked No. 23, fought valiantly but were defeated by the 11th-ranked duo of Ytai Abougzir and Chris Westerhof of Florida State. The Baylor pair finish the season at 16-2 after losing the first set in a tiebreaker, 7-6 (2). The Seminole tandem nudged Kokta and Poerschke out of the tournament with a 7-5 second set victory.
