For the first time in school history, Baylor will host both the NCAA men's and women's tennis regionals at the Baylor Tennis Center, May 12-14. Both Baylor teams will enter the NCAA Tournament as No. 5 seeds in their respective brackets.

The women's Waco regional, featuring Baylor, Texas Southern, Texas A&M and Arizona State will be conducted on May 12-13, while the men's regional which features the host-Bears, as well as Texas Southern, Tulsa and Middle Tennessee State, runs May 13-14.

All six matches will be conducted on the Baylor Tennis Center courts. The Baylor women's team is making its ninth all-time and second consecutive NCAA appearance, while the BU men will be competing in their ninth straight NCAA Tournament having won the 2004 event and finishing as the national runner-up in 2005.

Women's 2006 NCAA Waco Regional

Friday, May 12:

3 p.m. Arizona State vs. Texas A&M

6 p.m. Baylor vs. Texas Southern

Saturday, May 13:

5 p.m. Regional Championship

Men's 2006 NCAA Waco Regional

Saturday, May 13:

11 a.m. Baylor vs. Texas Southern

2 p.m. Middle Tennessee State vs. Tulsa

Sunday, May 14:

2 p.m. Regional Championship

There are two ticketing plans available for next week's NCAA Tournament--a $30.00 reserved all session three-day pass or daily ticket purchases (two women's matches on Friday, all three matches on Saturday and Sunday's men's match). Tickets purchased on a daily basis are priced at $10 for reserved seats, $5 for adult general admission and $3 for student (under 18) general admission seating (this includes Baylor students with ID).
