Men's Tennis Honored at Football Game

WACO, Texas - The Baylor men's tennis team was honored on the field during the first quarter of the Baylor-Texas football game on Saturday for its accomplishments during the 2009 spring season.

The team was introduced to the crowd of 44,372 with last year's Big 12 regular season trophy and the 2009 Big 12 Championship tournament trophy.

For the Bears, last year's regular season title was the ninth for the program overall and the eighth straight, while the tournament title was the seventh in the last eight years and the third straight.

Baylor will return six letter winners from last year's squad when it starts dual match play on January 22, 2010 against Louisiana-Lafayette in Waco.
