• Baylor looks to snap its season-high five-game losing streak Wednesday when the Bears try to upset the 2nd-ranked Oklahoma Sooners at the Ferrell Center. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. on ESPN2.
• Baylor's current five-game losing streak is the longest since the Bears lost six straight at the start of the 2005-06 season - that was the freshman season of this year's senior class.
• Baylor has lost 29 straight games to Oklahoma and has not defeated the Sooners since Dec. 6, 1977, in Norman. Baylor's last win over Oklahoma in Waco came on Dec. 14, 1954.
• Wednesday's game will be Baylor's 10th on the ESPN family of networks this season (Baylor is 4-5 this season).
• LaceDarius Dunn currently owns a streak of 28 consecutive games with at least one 3-pointer made - tied for the second-longest streak in Baylor history. He is one game shy of tying Tevis Stukes (29) for the school record. He has made at least one 3-point field goal in 52 of his 54 career games.

• Oklahoma's 95 points vs. Baylor on Jan. 24 was the Sooners' second-largest offensive output this season (100 vs. Maryland-Eastern Shore on Jan. 5).
• Preseason Big 12 Player of the Year Blake Griffin paces the Oklahoma offense, averaging a double-double with 22.3 points and 14.0 rebounds. Willie Warren ranks second on the team with 15.0 points, followed by Tony Crocker with 10.5 points.

• Baylor's 19 point loss (95-76) marked their worst loss since a 26 point defeat (82-56) vs. No. 8 Kansas on Jan. 24, 2007.

• It's been a little more than three decades since Baylor last defeated Oklahoma and nearly 55 years since the Bears beat the Sooners in Waco.
• Baylor's last win over the Sooners was a 76-69 triumph on Dec. 6, 1977, in Norman.
• Vinnie Johnson led all scoers with 31 points on 13-of-22 shooting, while pulling down nine boards in 37 minutes. Wendell Mays added 14 points and seven rebounds and Arthur Edwards chipped in 10 points and nine boards.
• Both teams sank 33 field goals, but Baylor was more successful at the free throw line. The Bears were 9-of-12, while the Sooners converted only 3-of-10 from the free throw line.
LAST TIME OUT - TEXAS TECH 83, BAYLOR 76
• Baylor let a 12-point lead midway through the second half evaporate and scored only one field goal in the final 3:29 of the game as the Bears dropped an 83-76 decision at Texas Tech.
• Alan Voskuil and John Roberson each scored 18 points, ending the Red Raiders' four-game losing streak.
• Curtis Jerrells snapped his recent offensive dry spell, scoring a game-high 20 points, while Kevin Rogers added 17.

• Four of the top seven 3-point shooters in Baylor history are on the current 2008-09 Bears roster. Senior Curtis Jerrells currently leads the group with 181 treys, good for 4th all-time.
• Tweety Carter ranks 5th with 158 treys, followed by Henry Dugat in 6th with 154. LaceDarius Dunn ranks 7th with 146 triples.
JERRELLS STARTING HIS WAY INTO THE RECORD BOOK
• Entering Wednesday vs. Oklahoma, senior guard Curtis Jerrells has started 103 consecutive games and is one of only four Baylor players to start 100 or more games in his career.
• Jerrells is currently third all-time with 103 starts. He is five shy of tying the school record held by Doug Brandt (108).
JERRELLS BREAKS THROUGH, SNAPS 0-FOR-15 SLUMP
• Heading into Saturday's game at Texas Tech, Curtis Jerrells was struggling offensively, missing his last 14 field goal attempts and was held to nine total points in the last two games.
• Jerrells finally broke through his slump in the first half Saturday against the Red Raiders, scoring a game-high 20 points.
• Jerrells' 3-point field goal at the 10:14 mark of the first half snapped his 0-for-15 slump from the floor.
• His nine-point total in the two previous games was the lowest two-game total of his career (5 at Mizzou; 4 vs. Kansas).
