GAME DAY STORY LINES
• After seeing its nine-game win streak come to an end Tuesday, Baylor (13-2, 1-1) will look to extend its home win streak to 10 games when the Bears host the Oklahoma €ˆState €ˆCowboys (13-3, 1-1) Saturday in the €ˆFerrell Center.
• Baylor's nine-game home win streak is the sixth-longest in school history and the longest since winning nine straight in 2008-09.
• Oklahoma State leads the all-time series 48-15, but Baylor has won three of the last five meetings.
• Baylor has won the last three series meetings in Waco.
• Entering Saturday's game, Baylor is two wins shy of posting its fourth consecutive seasons with 15 or more wins. It would be just the second time in program history that the Bears have posted 15-plus wins in four consecutive seasons -- 1967-68, 1968-69, 1969-70 and 1970-71.
• Baylor has won 73 games over the last three-plus seasons and needs one win to tie the school record for most wins during a four-year stretch. From 1945-49, Baylor won 74 games and made two NCAA €ˆTournament appearances.
• Baylor is 12-7 (.632) in its last 19 Big 12 Conference home games and 7-4 (.636) in Big 12 home games over the last two-plus seasons.

• Baylor has held its opponents to under 40 rebounds in all 15 games this season.
• Baylor has outrebounded all 15 opponents this season, including nine by double figures. Last season, the Bears outrebounded their opponents in only 16 of their 39 games.

• Through 15 games, Baylor has 28 more assists (237) than it did at this time one year ago (209). Four players -- Tweety Carter (76), Ekpe Udoh (43), A.J. Walton (34) and LaceDarius Dunn (32) -- have combined for 185 of Baylor's 237 assists.

FORMER ROCKETS GM DAWSON TO BE HONORED SATURDAY AS BAYLOR BASKETBALL LEGEND
• Former student-athlete, assistant coach and head coach Carroll Dawson will be honored Saturday as a 2010 Baylor Basketball Legend by the `B' Association.
• After earning All-American honors at Paris (Texas) Junior College, Dawson lettered two seasons for the Bears from 1959-60. He led the Bears in both scoring and rebounding in each of his two seasons. As a senior in 1960, he was named to the All-Southwest Conference first team after averaging 16.4 points through 24 games.
• Dawson returned to Baylor in 1963 as an assistant under head coach Bill Menefee. Ten years later, he succeeded Menefee as head coach in 1973, leading the Bears to 42 victories. After three years as Baylor's head coach, Dawson moved on to coach with the NBA's Houston Rockets, eventually serving as the club's general manager.
• Recognized as one of the NBA's top executives, Dawson transformed the Rockets into a regular playoff contender by acquiring such players as Clyde Drexler, Charles Barkley, Scottie Pippen, Hakeem Olajuwon, Cuttino Mobley and Yao Ming. He was also credited with teaching Olajuwon's patented jump hook. Dawson holds the distinction of being the only member of Houston's coaching staffs that advanced to the NBA Finals in 1981, 1986, 1994 and 1995.
• Dawson has been inducted into four halls of fame - Paris Junior College Hall of Fame in 1991, Baylor Athletic Hall of Fame in 1998, Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2001 and the Texas Sports Hall of Fame in 2003. He was also named Mr. Sportsman 2005 by Houston's Interfaith Charities. Dawson's initials, `CD', hang from the rafters of the Toyota Center in Houston.
