LAST TIME VS. OKLAHOMA (FEB. 11, 2009)
• Oklahoma's early game-changing run of three-point baskets by Austin Johnson pushed second-ranked Oklahoma to a 78-63 victory over Baylor in the Ferrell Center.
• The shot clock was running out on the Sooners when Willie Warren passed to Johnson, who caught the ball and shot while still in the air. That 3-pointer with four minutes left pushed Oklahoma's lead back to the 10 and took the steam out of Baylor.
• Blake Griffin had 18 points and 10 rebounds for his 21st double-double of the season, matching the school record with six regular season games left.
• Johnson finished with 17 points while Juan Pattillo and Warren each had 14 for the Sooners.
• After Quincy Acy sparked a wild sequence that got Baylor within 52-49 with eight minutes left, head coach Jeff Capel called timeout. And the Sooners responded.
• Within a minute after the timeout, Pattillo hit a baseline jumper, and following a missed 3-pointer by Baylor, Johnson passed inside to Pattillo, who made the shot and added a free throw after being fouled.
• The Sooners extended their lead to 62-51 when Tony Crocker hit a long 3-pointer with five minutes left and Baylor never got closer than seven points after that.
• Curtis Jerrells had 19 points to lead Baylor. Kevin Rogers and LaceDarius Dunn had 11 points each, while €ˆRogers added nine rebounds.
