WACO -
Sophomore Lisa Sliwinski has received the national honor of being named to TopDrawerSoccer.com Women's College Team of the Week.
The sophomore is coming off a tremendous performance against Houston Baptist on Aug. 27, in which she scored three goals en route to a 6-0 win for Baylor. Sliwinski's three-goal game was the first for a BU player since Megan Sherrell did so on Oct. 19, 2007 at Nebraska.
The Plano, Texas native earned a national award last season after being named one of CollegeSoccer360.com's Primetime Performers of the week on Oct. 21, 2009.
Sliwinski and the Bears will be in action on Friday to take on UTSA at home beginning at 7:00 p.m.
