WACO, Texas - A total of 94 Baylor student-athletes were named to the Dean's Academic Honor List for the 2011 spring semester, including 51 who achieved 4.0 grade point averages.

In addition, 63 of the spring honorees were also listed on the fall semester Dean's List. Soccer led the field with 19 honorees followed by equestrian with 18, women's track with 14 and baseball's 10.

To be named to the Dean's List, a student must be an undergraduate with a minimum grade-point average of 3.7, while enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours. "The student-athletes at Baylor University continue to achieve the highest standards in academics at the Division I level," said Baylor's Athletics Director Ian McCaw. "Each year we challenge our student-athletes on the playing fields and in the classroom. Our teams and student-athletes continue to excel athletically and academically," McCaw added.
