Baylor's two senior, Julian Bley and Kike Grangeiro, were double winners on Wednesday when the men's tennis team downed Texas A&M, 4-3, at the Aggies' George P. Mitchell Tennis Center in College Station.

The Aggies struck first in doubles with a win on court one when the 41st-ranked doubles tandem of Junior Ore and Jackson Withrow downed a pair of freshmen, Mate Zsiga and Diego Galeano, ranked No. 68, 8-2. That would prove to be the Aggies' lone doubles win as No. 59 Roberto Maytin and Grangeiro posted an 8-5 victory over John Lewis and Niall Angus on court two followed by a point-clinching triumph by Bley and freshman Marko Krickovic with a 9-7 win at No. 3 doubles over Colin Hoover and Alexis Klegou.
Texas A&M evened the match at 1-1 when the 33rd-ranked Klegou downed Krickovic at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-2. However, Baylor then won three straight singles matches, securing the win, before allowing the Aggies back on the scoreboard. Straight-set wins by Grangeiro and Bley, playing on courts five and six, respectively, put two more points on the board. Grangeiro downed Lewis, 6-3, 6-4, while Bley won by 6-4, 6-3 scores. Zsiga, ranked No. 16, clinched the match for the Bears with a three-set win over Ore at the top court, 6-3, 1-6, 6-2. Texas A&M earned their final two points with victories at courts three and four. Jeremy Efferding downed Galeano at No. 4, 7-6(4), 6-1, while Hoover downed No. 98 Maytin, 6-4, 1-6, 7-5.
The Bears are idle until they return to College Station when the Aggies host the Big 12 Championships, April 27-29.
