WACO, Texas - Megan Turk's walk-off double in the bottom of the eighth capped three unanswered runs in the final two innings as No. 25 Baylor (27-14, 4-8) came from behind for the 5-4 upset of No. 5 Texas (35-6, 9-4) Wednesday night at Getterman Stadium. The crowd of 1,408 was the largest of the season and ninth all-time in Getterman Stadium history.
"What a night and what a complete team effort this was," head coach Glenn Moore said. "We needed a win like this so badly. We have been working hard and not seeing the fruits of our labor, but tonight was our night and hopefully this will be a springboard to the rest of our season."

Kathy Shelton got things going with a one-out single to short and stole her 22nd bag of the year to reach scoring position. Walker delivered her third RBI of the night on a single up the middle that scored Shelton, and on the throw home, she reached second and then third when the errant throw reached the backstop. Holl then delivered the game-tying RBI with a hard hit to first that knocked the fielder back and scored Walker.

The two free passes marked the first time the senior had been walked twice in a game in her career.
Walker and Turk teamed up again in the fifth with Walker singling up the middle to score Turk to cut the UT lead to one.
The Longhorns added one in the sixth on a chopped single by Torie Schmidt over the head of Turk at third to make it 4-2 UT.
