THE RUNDOWN:

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.-Baylor's 92nd-ranked Tony Lupieri dropped the consolation finale of the Sherwood Collegiate Cup to USC's Max deVroome 6-4, 7-6 at the Sherwood Country Club on Sunday.

Lupieri reached the consolation final round after defeating fellow Baylor player Vince Schneider 7-5, 6-7(6), 10-4 in the semifinal round, while deVroome reached the final round with a 7-6(2), 7-5 win over Baylor's Robert Verzaal.
