ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, Calif. - Baylor men's tennis players
Felipe Rios and
Vince Schneider won their lone doubles match Friday to make it to the semifinals of the Jack Kramer Intercollegiate.
The duo carded an 8-5 victory over Robbie Bellamy and Tanner Smith of USC to advance out of the quarterfinal round.
In singles action, each player went 1-1 on the day.
Rios bested Loyola Marymount's Errol Smith, 6-3, 6-2, and then fell in quarterfinal action to SMU's Nathaniel Lammons, 7-6, 6-1.
Schneider downed Washington's Jeffrey Hawke, 6-1, 6-2 in the round of 16, before dropping a 3-6, 7-6, 6-4 to Hawke's Husky teammate, Mitch Stewart.
HIGHLIGHTS
