OXFORD, Miss. (AP) -
Nina Davis scored a career-high 43 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead No. 11 Baylor to a 96-54 rout of Mississippi on Sunday.

Tied at 15 with 11:55 to play in the first half, Baylor closed on 29-4 run to take a 44-19 lead at the break. Davis scored 20 points in the first half, including the last seven points of the half.

Davis was 14 of 17 from the floor and made 15 of 19 free throws. She surpassed her previous career-best of 32 points against Western Kentucky in the first round of the NCAA Tournament last season.

Niya Johnson had 11 assists and Kristina Higgins grabbed 10 boards for Baylor (6-1), which shot 34 of 61 from the field for 55.7 percent.

Tia Faleru had nine points, 12 rebounds and five blocks to lead Mississippi (6-3), which has lost its last two games by double digits.

HIGHLIGHTS
? After Baylor trailed 12-11 briefly, it used a 15-0 run during a 3 minute span in the first half take control of the game and never looked back.
? Baylor shot over 50% from the field for the fourth straight game.
? Nina Davis scored a career-high 43 points for her 38th career game with at least 10 points and seventh straight to start the season.
? Davis is the 15th Baylor player in program history to score 40 or more points and it is the seventh highest point total.
? Davis' 20-point first half was her third double-digit scoring performance in the first half this season and the second of 20 or more by a BU player this season.
? Niya Johnson's 10 assists tied a season high.
? Johnson's 11 assists were a season high and marked the second double-digit performance of her season and ninth of her career.
? Kristina Higgins' 10 rebounds marked her second double-figure rebounding game of the season and third of her career.
? Khadijiah Cave (10 pts.) scored in double figures for the sixth time this season and 16th time in her career.
