Volleyball Takes Conference Break for Match with Texas State

WACO, Texas - The Baylor volleyball team (12-5, 1-3 Big 12) looks to rebound from a loss to No. 2 Texas, as BU faces off with the Texas State Bobcats (11-8, 6-1 Sun Belt) on Friday at 7 p.m. in the Ferrell Center.
With its only break from conference play of the season, Baylor will look to bounce back from the first and only loss in the Ferrell Center this season.
The Bears trail in the all-time series 11-21-1, with the most recent win coming last season in San Marcos. Baylor does hold the advantage in Waco, edging out the Bobcats by a 7-6 margin.
Baylor has dominated Texas State in recent years, though, taking seven of the last eight matches between the two squads.
This will be the first trip to Waco for the Bobcats since 2012, a three-set win for Baylor.
Friday's match will be Superhero Night, honoring all verified Police, Fire, and EMT personnel with discounted tickets. Additionally, there will be a superhero glove giveaway for all fans.
